Meet the Stephens family! This was my first time photographing them. We decided to meet at Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta. For those of you not familiar with this park, you should definitely visit it when in Atlanta. The park is huge with a lot of photo ops. Every time I’ve been to the park it’s always pretty busy. This day was no exception. A word to the wise: always check upcoming events in downtown Atlanta before making plans. We both got caught in bumper to bumper traffic and it took forever to find a parking space. Eventually, after a lot of frustration and thinking the photo session may have to be rescheduled, we were able to meet! Needless to say, we were racing against the sun, but determined to get their family portraits taken. I’m so glad we were able to get past the chaos and hang out while taking their photos. Little miss Harper has the prettiest blue eyes and LOVES to hear her mama sing! She gets so excited and gets the biggest smile on her face. Look at the photo and see for yourself. So sweet.
