Getting to hang out with the Head family is always a good time! It was time to catch up and capture their Riata Equestrian family portraits.

For their Fall family session, they wanted to keep it close to home. So, that’s exactly what we did! I loved getting to photograph in a new area. The Riata Equestrian Community in Forsyth, Georgia showed out! The Head’s family home was the perfect backdrop for their fall portraits. I mean, look at this home. It’s gorgeous! If you’re looking for a new home, you may want to check out The Riata Equestrian Community. I also happen to know an amazing Realtor, Elizabeth Head with The Head Realty Team.

Just on the other side of their home, they have a white fence and a pile of leaves. Yes, all of the prettiest orange and yellow fall leaves you can imagine. However, we didn’t do anything with those. Kidding! As soon as we saw this pile, I was hoping we could use them. These two are so cool, that it was actually their idea first! I’m so thankful for families that are always down to be in the moment and just have a good time. Portrait sessions really don’t have to be stressful. Just go with it and have fun.

During our time, we explored around their home finding the best places for their Riata Equestrian family portraits. We walked around the neighborhood and stopped at some railroad tracks nearby. If you don’t want to stay in one place for portraits, that’s fine! I actually prefer that. Let’s wander around and see what nearby areas we can find together.

Chasing light, laughing, and hanging with this group is always fun. I’m so glad we were able to catch up for their seasonal portraits. If you’re looking to do something new, maybe have a portrait session at your home too! It’s definitely a more personal approach to updating the family photos in your home. I highly recommend it!

Here are some of my favorite images from this Riata Equestrian family portraits. Peep, Mr. Ted. He’s a member of the family too. We couldn’t leave him out.
