Studio Santa mini sessions!
I LOVED this day. Studio Santa mini sessions in downtown Jackson were a success. I’ve always chosen outdoor locations for Santa minis, but this year I wanted to try something different. I’m so glad I did. This was the perfect place for the mini sessions. It was cozy, comfy, simple, and just beautiful. The lighting in the studio is amazing and added to the goodness of the day. Studio Santa mini sessions just may be the new thing.
First of all, Santa Mac is incredible! I could probably spend an hour explaining to you why, but I’ll make it simple. The kiddos absolutely loved him. He surprised the kids by walking up behind the couch while I was photographing them. When they looked back, they were SO surprised to see him. He was calm and gentle with each of them, answering questions, and listening to all of their Christmas gift requests. He took time with every child. No one was rushed and had special time with him. I could go on and on. I’m so thankful for him and how special he made each child feel.
There’s something special about taking (and getting!) Santa photos each year. Trust me, I know it’s a very busy season. You’re in the midst of holidays, kids are still in school and extracurricular activities, plus holiday events and shopping. I’m sure we all stay pretty busy. It’s easy to think that it’s not important or there’s just not enough time for it. Since my kids were young, I’ve tried to get Santa photos taken. There were a few years that I was busy and just didn’t make time for it. However, having these photos with them and Santa are so precious to me. Having images of how they’ve grown each year, and the excitement with Santa is still there, is something I’m so glad I have. Plus, most mini sessions around Christmastime is about 15 minutes. Everyone can spare 15 minutes of time, right?! I’m telling you, it’s worth it!
Leave me a note!
