Some of my favorite things… the river, family portraits, and the Head family!

It’s always fun to see this group. Elizabeth is a friend and a local Realtor. She’s helped us for years with the buying and selling process of a few homes. We would never go with anyone else. It was the perfect summer day for family portraits at the river. Everyone in Georgia knows just how hot these summer days can get. Most of the time it’s miserable hot. It definitely makes it difficult to enjoy the outdoors. The river is the perfect location for a summer portrait session. If you get too hot, jump in the water! You get to cool off and I promise it makes for great photos too! Ha.

This river is great for many reasons, but I’ll never get over the large rocks. It’s my most favorite feature. I never had that at the river I used to swim in as a child. Yes, that was fun part of my childhood in south Georgia. It makes portrait sessions even better.

Mr. Ted, the family pet, is a very important part of the Head family and is always included in the portraits we take. He does such a great job being in front of the camera.
