I’ve been looking forward to this blog post for many reasons. It was a great day with such wonderful families.

Editing all of the images from this day made me so happy. Truly. Why, you ask? Look at their faces. As I went through each photo, I loved seeing the genuine excitement and joy. I wish I could show you every single photo from these sessions. There’s nothing like it. The shock for these kiddos that Santa Claus is actually right in front of them. Then the excitement that they get to tell him every single thing they want for Christmas. Trust me, they did. They told him every single little thing. Ha. It’s priceless.

Everyone was happy to see Santa Mac. There’s nothing better than Santa at a Christmas Tree Farm. The best one around? Well, that would be Ridgeway Christmas Tree Farm in Jackson, Georgia. These kiddos thought that they were only having their photo taken. They had no idea that Santa was hidden away amongst the trees and at exactly the right time, he would sneak out and tip toe right up to them. They had no idea. I love seeing their genuine expressions.

As important as Santa is, it’s equally important to have family photos taken as well. I always split up Christmas mini sessions for that reason. Half of the session is with Santa, and the other half is just family. My children enjoy seeing Santa and I still get our personal family photos with just us. It’s a win for everyone. I had the best time hanging with these awesome families, laughing, and hearing alll of the presents these kiddos want.
