This summer evening portrait session in McDonough was perfect. The weather was great and the company was even better. The Oliphants requested a family portrait session at their home. There are plenty of great venues and locations in the area for portrait sessions. However, I get super excited when families want to include a special location, such as their home, for a family portrait session.

Lifestyle sessions are some of my favs. You get to be in your own environment, familiar and comfortable. You can include specific items that are meaningful to you. Not that you can’t do that during any other session, but there’s something different, something so much more personal when it’s your home.

I was excited when the Oliphant family wanted me to photograph them at their home. I photographed them inside their home and we walked around outside and found the best spots too. Of course we had to include their incredibly sweet pup. I’ve said this many times, but if you ever want to know if pets can be included in your session the answer is YES! I love getting to meet family pets.
