I met up with the Oliphant family for their winter family session.

They braved the cold and met me at Heritage Park in McDonough for a winter family session. I love Heritage Park, especially for family photos. There’s so many great spots for photos and an endless amount of background options. I think it’s perfect if you have littles at the session as well. They don’t have to stand in one place the entire time. We spend a few minutes at each spot and move on to a new location. It definitely keeps them interested and not losing focus.

It was a cool, sunny day at the park and it doesn’t get much better than that. This was my first time meeting the Oliphant family and getting to know their kiddos. I have the best time meeting new families and getting to see each child’s personality. One thing about me, is I will never expect or want every photo to be posed. If your kiddo needs a few minutes to walk around, if they want to make silly faces, or show me the biggest leaf they found on the ground… I’m down. It’s during these moments that some of the best photos take place. We walked, talked, and listened to the kids giggle throughout their winter family session. A good time was had by all.
